Role Summary: We are in search of an On-Call IT Technician to deliver on-site technical support at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The primary focus of this position is the maintenance and repair of automated bag-drop and check-in systems as required. The successful candidate will be proficient with hand tools, capable of performing preventative maintenance, and adept at troubleshooting mechanical issues on-site. Flexibility to respond to incidents promptly is essential. Training will be provided, and parking expenses will be reimbursed.
Availability: Candidates must demonstrate a consistent ability to manage on-call responsibilities alongside other commitments, such as freelance work or flexible schedules.
Contract Type: This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
Essential Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and Windows operating systems.
- Experience in repairing and adjusting conveyor systems using provided tools.
- Familiarity with common hardware and software diagnostics.
- Proficient in desktop, laptop, and tablet configuration and repair.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve routine computer issues.
- Capable of interpreting various technical documents, including manuals and wiring diagrams.

- Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Personable and able to work autonomously.
- Ability to foster effective communication and relationships with stakeholders and end-users.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of relevant experience.
- Competent in hands-on mechanical repairs.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Attention to detail and a strong customer service focus.
