Job Posting
American National is seeking a full-time, Mortgage Servicing Representative who will specialize in commercial loans.

To thrive in this position, you should have relevant experience in one of the following business sectors; Banking, Financial Services, Accounting, Insurance, or Commercial Property Management.

Onsite Placement Location: League City, Texas

What you will do:

Maintain and service domestic and international mortgage loan portfolios
Monitor and reconcile loan accruals, maturity lists, and loan due dates
Calculate loan payoffs
Monitor escrow, taxes, insurance, and timely pay outs
Collaborate with brokers, loan analysts, and legal counsel to ensure compliance
Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
Participate in audits
Partner with Actuary teams to calculate risk-based capital charges
Assess portfolio risk
Evaluate loan collateral
Assist with loan closings and support the closing coordinator
Manage construction loan draws

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, preferred (Will consider candidates with relevant work experience in lieu of degree)
Professional experience performing accounting reconciliations
Exposure to processing/servicing mortgage loans is preferred
Ability to accurately calculate payment totals and interest
Aptitude to read legal documents and implement appropriate action
Proficiency in Excel and exposure to SAP. ideal
