Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Director to join our USND Business and Legal Affairs team to support the distribution business teams for Paramount networks, Paramount+ and Pluto TV in a broad variety of matters arising from the distribution of Paramount's programming services and content.

  • Provide general paralegal support to USND Business and Legal Affairs in connection with distribution of Paramount television networks and streaming services on a variety of distribution platforms.
  • Administer contract database and records system
  • Assist with monitoring of contractual and regulatory compliance
  • Additional support to attorneys as needed, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, memoranda, correspondence and support materials.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a legal support role.
Additional Qualifications
  • Possess excellent drafting, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience with contracts and legal concepts, knowledge of intellectual property, entertainment, technology, privacy and/or internet law.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a demanding, fast-paced environment; to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing; and ability to work independently on projects assigned by attorneys.
  • Experience in the media industry is a plus.

Hiring Salary Range: $98, , The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
