FedPoint, a leading third-party benefits administrator is seeking a meticulous and proactive Data Quality Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy of premium and enrollment data feeds and reports. As a Data Quality Analyst, you will handle data reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, manage system changes, and support our carriers with exceptional service.

We are dedicated to excellence in delivering high-quality data solutions to our Federal Employee Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) carriers. Our Carrier Services department ensures the accuracy of enrollment and premium data, driving improvements and resolving discrepancies to maintain smooth operations. What You'll Do:

  • Assigned Carrier Support
    • Perform daily data quality reviews and flawlessly transmit carrier enrollment and premium feeds.
    • Tackle load error reports and orchestrate our incapable of self-support dependent process.
    • Craft and upload key reports like AFTS, Premium Roll-up, and Financial Summaries with precision.
    • Respond to carrier communications with lightning speed and resolve issues like a pro.
    • Collaborate with Customer Service to address customer concerns.
  • Controls and reporting
    • Run and resolve defect controls with expertise.
    • Maintain our address data.
    • Gather and document reporting requirements and identify improvements in the reporting process
  • System Change management
    • Analyze, document, and report system issues, helping to create and implement effective solutions.
    • Conduct user acceptance testing and submit data fixes to ensure flawless system performance.
  • Miscellaneous
    • Represent our department on special projects and tackle additional tasks that enhance our operations.

Qualifications:


• 2+ years' experience having performed data analysis / discrepancy resolution to ensure integrity and appropriateness is required.


• 2+ years utilizing strong professional / client communication skills (written and verbal) to work in partnership with external and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and complete tasks is required.


• Proficiency level skills in MS Excel, Access, and relational databases are required.


• Experience running, not necessarily writing, SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data is preferred.

  • Excellent mathematical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven follow-through on tasks.
  • Analytical and technical aptitude with problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of FEDVIP regulations and data transmission concepts is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
