As a Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the technical aspects and design of Evolent's technology capabilities and products from strategy to launch. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution strategy, business operations, engineering, quality assurance, and IT, to ensure our applications meet the needs of our customers, the market, and the business. You will be involved in every stage of the product development process, from ideation to delivery, and you will have a direct impact on the success of our products.

Collaboration Opportunities:

Our Product Managers are the catalysts for technology innovation, bridging the gap between the business, the market, and the customers. They collaborate with implementation teams, business operations, engineering, and growth teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that create value and delight users.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Develop 1-3 year outcome driven roadmap and prioritize across all key stakeholders to decisively and actionably define system/platform driven to continuously deliver value.
  • Conduct internal and external technology assessments and analyze the competitive landscape.
  • Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the technical/developer community and clearly communicate objectives via product briefs, business cases, and business requirements which incorporate using industry standards, use cases, wireframes, and flow diagrams
  • As a key owner, will define acceptance criteria and definitions of done to enable quality user acceptance testing (externally and internally) and systems sign-off for all deployments.
  • Leveraging sophisticated communication channels that enables strong teamwork across product, engineer, implementations, and business operations teams through tooling, forums, and processes.
  • Synthesize technical communications, risks, barriers, and trade-offs for executive level presentations and delivery through Executive Level Roadmap Steering Committee forums
  • Facilitating the flow of information and ideas across teams and executing on product vision across teams
  • Lead projects utilizing agile scrum methodologies, user persona, SDLC, and road mapping.

The Experience You'll Need (Required ):

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred or the equivalent experience, at least 1year in the Health Care Domain.
  • Associate Product Manager : 1 - 3 years of relevant experience and capability; Product Manager : 3 - 6 years of relevant experience and capability; Senior Product Manager : 7+ years of relevant experience and capability.
  • Proficiency with modern methodologies in conducting market research, user feedback, and competitive analysis to identify user needs and market opportunities
  • Strong stakeholder experience and skilled at creating and communicating product vision, strategy, and roadmaps including technical, business, and executive audiences
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, operations, growth, and implementation, to deliver high-quality products that meet user expectations and business goals.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in applying agile scrum methodologies, user personas, SDLC, and road mapping to manage product development and delivery
  • Experience in defining and documenting business processes and rules, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done to ensure quality and alignment
  • Proven ability in defining and documenting business processes and rules

Technical Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $100,000 up to $160,000 depending on level of capability. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
