JOB OPPORTUNITY
Mortenson is currently looking for an Electrical Apprentice to join their team working on utility scale solar projects. In this role, you will assist the electrical team with various tasks related to solar energy equipment. Safety is paramount, and you will receive training from experienced professionals to ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining solar panels and equipment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Base compensation range: $ $52.53 per hour
  • Mobility benefits included

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit
  • Safely use hand and power tools
  • Lift and position objects
  • Maintain a clean work area and equipment
  • Follow standard procedures and instructions
  • Build relationships with diverse backgrounds
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to read safety regulations and blueprints
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Willingness to follow instructions
  • Physically able to handle materials up to 200 lbs
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Detailoriented and customer serviceoriented

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant experience required
  • Electrical Apprenticeship preferred
  • Current driver's license preferred
