This position is 38 hrs/week for the School of Nursing Finance Office

Job Summary: The Coordinator-Finance assists the financial administration of the school as a resource for identifying and controlling operating expenses and participates in budget development. Oversees clinical affiliation and/or contract teaching. Works independently to balance priorities and ensures efficient financial operations of the School. Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum three years of experience required. Minimum one year of experience in accounting and finance preferred.

Knowledge and Skills: Able to read; write and speak with professional quality; Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other computer and software programs necessary for the position. Able to develop charts and graphs. Relate well with team members and be able to deal with conflict and criticism objectively and maintain confidentiality. Ability to exercise judgment in sensitive and confidential matters. Perceives a need and takes initiative to accomplish tasks. Able to follow complex instructions. Must be able to manage multiple assignments to completion, work independently without frequent supervision, problem solve and make independent decisions. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens and written documents necessary to the position.

Licensures and Certifications: Valid Driver's License required at time of hire.
