Job Description:
Lead the development of models related to finance and risk measurement estimation methodologies, ensuring proper risk management. Collaborate with Risk Functions and business lines to enhance models continuously. Areas of focus include market, commercial, retail, credit, financial crimes, finance, and compliance risk. Responsible for model review and validation post-deployment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full model development life cycle
  • Develop and maintain monitoring processes
  • Ensure compliance with model risk management requirements
  • Provide mentoring and training
  • Communicate with stakeholders and oversight groups
  • Support regulatory examinations
  • Assist in talent recruitment
  • Supervise model development staff

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in quantitative model development
  • Strong proficiency in SAS or similar tools
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Proficient problemsolving abilities
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field

Preferred:

  • Master's degree/PhD
  • Professional designations
  • Risk management experience
  • Knowledge of current regulatory environment
