Our Client is a top-tier general contractor specializing in high-density multi-family residential projects.

Job Description

Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.Scheduling and Planning:Develop and maintain construction schedules, ensuring timely execution of project phases.Plan and coordinate project tasks, ensuring resource availability and allocation.Quality Control:Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to construction plans, specifications, and industry standards.Address any discrepancies or issues promptly to maintain project quality.Safety Management:Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.Communication and Coordination:Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved in the project.Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management and clients.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.Ensure all project documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with at least 5 years focused on heavy multi-family residential projects.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale multi-family construction projects.Education:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.Skills:Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Proficient in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Thorough understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.Certifications:OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification.Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or similar certification is a plus.
