Compensation Detail Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $18.16 per hour. Benefits Eligible Yes (excluding Per-Diem). Schedule Full-time, Part-Time, and Per-Diem positions are available. Hours / Pay period Available hours: 72 (Full Time), 48 (Part Time) and 24 (Per Diem). Schedule Details 12-hour shift. Primarily nights (19:00-07:30). Day shifts may also be available (07:00-19:30).
Department DescriptionAs a Patient Care Assistant - Medical Surgical and Telemetry, you'll be asked to help support the nurses who provide direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act for assigned patients in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit including Medical Pulmonary, Medical Oncology, Surgical, Surgical (GYN/URO), Telemetry, and Medical/Surgical Overflow. You'll work under the direction of a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) providing activities for daily living (ADL) support, comfort care, nutrition, and hygiene care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. You'll also take and record clinical measurements, collect specimens, provide transportation, and maintain equipment and supplies.
