POSITION DUTIES

\r
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detailed oriented, and intellectually curious.� Most importantly, they will be a collaborator and partner who will help to support the General Accounting Division. This position is responsible for the General Accounting Division's (GAD) Financial Reporting section and provides supervision and staffing for assigned activities. This includes evaluating, developing and implementing statewide accounting policies, procedures and practices for the efficient recording and reporting of the State's financial information in accordance with statutory requirements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.� Critical to this role is the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and facilitating the annual financial statement audit for each fiscal year. The incumbent must complete the ACFR in a timely manner.​\r

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:� Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business related field.\r
\r
\r
Experience:� Three or more years of Managerial experience.�\r
\r
\r
** For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service. If you possess a degree obtained outside of the United States, please submit a detailed, course-by-course evaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalency evaluating members identified at�\r
