Production Supervisor Role:
  • Oversee the supervision, planning, and direction of product production on various lines to ensure safe and consistent results within quality standards.
  • Coordinate activities of production associates to meet production goals and ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage labor effectively within the department.
  • Track employee attendance and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Identify and address equipment issues promptly.
  • Provide necessary training for productivity and safety enhancement.
  • Lead safety promotion and awareness initiatives.
  • Prepare reports for upper management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Verify HACCP paperwork.
  • Review and update attendance records.
  • Check inventories and conduct audits.
  • Ensure fair treatment of associates.
  • Monitor product quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Plant SOPs and USDA policies.
  • Basic mathematical and writing skills.
  • Experience in a leadership role preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Management or related field.
  • Two years of experience in a poultry processing facility.

Working Conditions:
70% of time in a manufacturing environment and 30% in an office setting. The manufacturing environment is cold and wet.
