As a Portfolio Strategy Manager in Payments' Acquiring Platform & Rails, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. You will be responsible for building and communicating Acquiring Platform and Rail's (APR's) product portfolio strategy and vision up to JPMorgan's C-Suite and across the program's leadership and teams.
The Vice President of Portfolio Strategy will be responsible for building and communicating Acquiring Platform and Rail's (APR's) product portfolio strategy and vision up to JPMorgan's C-Suite and across the program's leadership and teams. With guidance from the Head of Strategic Execution & Communications, this leader will own the design and development of presentation materials used for JPMC executive and APR leadership meetings. In addition, they will be responsible for crafting innovative, fresh, effective campaign materials that communicate the business' strategic vision and roadmap across the program. With 2500+ employees distributed across the United States, Europe, Canada, and Asia-Pacific, this role will play a pivotal part in connecting the APR organization and driving it to achieve its ambitious goals. Acquiring Platforms & Rails helps millions of companies of all sizes to grow their businesses by providing end-to-end payment processing experience, including funding in an array of settlement currencies across the globe. Clients can get quickly integrate with our platform with simplified APIs and also receive business insights using advanced API interfaces. In APR, we have blended Product and Technology organizations to ideate and develop state of the art products and services for our clients using the cloud-based modern platform that caters to the best in class experience for our clients.
Job responsibilities

• Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
• Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
• Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
• Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
• Builds compelling presentation materials and crisp PowerPoint visualizations that clearly convey the business' product strategy, roadmap, and key successes to executive leadership and key stakeholders across JPMorgan
• Assists product and business leaders in crafting materials that effectively communicate their vision and its relevance to APR and JPMorgan leadership
• Collaborates with executive leaders to define and shape product strategy for the Merchant Acquiring business
• Leverages strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive decision-making processes both independently and in collaboration with executive leaders
• Provides thought leadership and guides development of agendas and materials for senior leadership offsites and executive business reviews
• Fosters a team-oriented mindset, leading within the team and collaborating with colleagues across the business to achieve shared goals

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
• Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
• Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
• 8+ years of experience and demonstrated success in a combination of Strategy, Product Management, Executive Communications, or Consulting, with demonstrated understanding of strategy and communications best practices
• Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills and proven experience, with the ability to design, build and deliver compelling presentations that effectively communicate complex business strategies to executive leaders
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet ambitious strategic goals
• Demonstrated ability to engage and lead discussions with senior-level stakeholders
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, leading and fostering cooperation and contributing to shared goals

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
• Experience with technology, product, or financial companies/roles (preferred)
• Graduate degree in business or communications
