The Culinary Administrative Assistant will provide research, clerical, administrative and technical support to our Culinary, Stewarding and Warehouse departments.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist with the Culinary and Stewarding schedules and track department attendance.Assist with monthly inventory.Manage the BEO board - both daily and weekly.Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma, some college and/or appropriate combination of education and work experience to support on-the-job effectiveness.One year of previous administrative experience, to include office management principles and procedures.Ability to work independently, exercising appropriate skills for effective judgment, creative problem solving and taking initiative.Excellent communication skills, with ability to deliver and interpret information across various sources.Exceptional computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite software.Preferred:
College degree in Business, Accounting or a related field of study.Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management; Ability to promote and participate in team environment conceptsSelf-starter who can work independently and on several tasks/projects simultaneously, and who can contribute to functional areas of the business outside of the finance area.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Initiative in identifying and resolving problems timely and effectively.What We Offer:

The original structure was completed in 1972 and has undergone five expansions. In total, there are 71 meeting rooms, 11 exhibit halls, and three multi-purpose ballrooms. Now one of the largest convention centers in America, the Indiana Convention Center is connected by skywalks to more hotel rooms than any other city in the nation. Also linked to the center is a four-story urban shopping mall, surrounded by more than 200 restaurants and clubs, well-known sports venues, and a 10-block state park that features top museums, green space and a convenient canal walk.
