How will you make an impact in this role?

Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes. The US Small Business and Middle Market segment (SME – Small and Medium Enterprise) is the largest GCS customer segment, with tremendous growth momentum, and continues to be a key area of investment and focus for our company.

The Middle Market Demand Generation Team is part of the Managed Marketing & Prospect organization in Global Commercial Services. This team is focused on being essential to the US SME Sales & Marketing distribution engine by warming and delivering high intent leads to create new and expand existing customer relationships.

One way to fuel the US SME distribution engine is through multi-channel (primarily digital) marketing to the Middle Market business segment. These marketing programs build awareness of American Express and our product suite, generate and nurture qualified demand, and partner with direct response channel leaders and Sales to convert these leads as effectively as possible.

This Senior Analyst role will be responsible for the end to end strategy, development, and execution of digital marketing assets (Paid Media, Email, Site) for the Corporate Middle Market prospect audience. These marketing assets will drive demand, awareness, and ultimately leads and conversions for Amex Commercial products.

KeyResponsibilities:

Lead the E2E creative strategy from ideation to launch for omnichannel digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand for the Corporate Card Program Conduct market and competitive research to understand leading and innovative practices in B2B digital marketing and integrate them into US SME strategies to drive product demandManage relationships with external creative agencies and develop effective, comprehensive creative briefsPartner closely with media agencies to determine optimal channels, timing and placements for initiatives Monitor campaign performance and utilize insights and learnings to inform future campaignsPartner closely with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment with marketing materials and that campaigns support broader business objectives Drive campaign roadmap, test & learn plans, and optimizations of marketing collateral for continuous performance improvement Oversee a Marketing Operations Analyst(s) responsible for the legal review processExecute marketing assets in partnership with operations analysts & Compliance partners to gain legal approval through a thorough review processQualifications2+ years of B2B and/or digital marketing experienceCreative problem solver with a passion for challenging the status quoStrategic thinker – ability to ask the right questions and use data to develop winning, profitable strategiesDigital/performance marketing expertise; ability to build campaigns that connect with audience segments and motivate actionsStrong project management abilities with the ability to drive multiple initiatives across different work streams simultaneouslyPaid Media and/or Email channel experience and excitement – experience developing creative across multiple digital platforms, and a passion for introducing new/innovative new onesExternal agency management experience – writing creative briefs and delivering clear actionable feedbackStrong collaboration and partnership skills – track record for building positive relationships and finding mutual benefit with multiple cross-functional partnersProcess-oriented with great attention to detailComfort developing, and being held accountable for, performance targets Desire to innovate and try new things Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
