Carnegie Mellon University is seeking applicants for a full-time, fixed term Assistant Coach in its intercollegiate Men's & Women's Golf program. A national research university, Carnegie Mellon is a member of the NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports program.

Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for a full-time, 10-month assistant coach in its intercollegiate men's and women's golf program.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Recruitment of potential studentathletes, practice and tournament planning, and assisting the head coach in all aspects of the program.
  • Supervision of the golf strength and conditioning program
  • Home event management and other assigned administrative duties, as well as teaching in the physical education program.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • 13 years of collegiate coaching experience or the equivalent coaching/teaching as a PGA or LPGA golf professional and/or instructor required
  • 13 years of leadership experience required
  • A proven history of competitive tournament play is preferred, but not required
  • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
