The Digital Portfolio Committee (DPC) Office Lead serves as a director-level leader responsible for the management and oversight of the Digital Portfolio Committee. The primary objective of this role is to support the DPC governance process and day-to-day execution needed to manage, track, and steer the enterprise-wide DD&T portfolio.

Lead the daily operations of the Digital Portfolio Committee (DPC)Drive improvements related to the core DPC processes in support of digitally-enabled initiatives including creating increased transparency, optimizing the portfolio, and maximizing the value of investmentsEnable DPC meetings to discuss matters related to awareness, support, scale potential, or endorsement of initiatives; this includes managing the agenda, setting up meeting logistics, enabling rich discussions, conducting / supporting portfolio-level data analyticsMaintain and publish the DD&T Pipeline and Portfolio, including managing initiative database and other tools (e.g., DPC meeting app)Communicate status of the DD&T Pipeline and Portfolio with executive team members regularlySupport maintaining the GDD&T Portfolio, ensuring progress tracking, OKR tracking, risk management, and financial adherence Liaise with stakeholders, DD&T leadership, Takeda executive members, and CFOs to drive transparency of value creation and optimization commitments. ACCOUNTABILITIES Support management of the end-to-end DPC process and operations, including managing agenda, materials, taking minutes, and other relevant logisticsSet the agenda for DPC meetings including identifying initiatives to be presented at the DPC, split into DPC1 focused on validating value cases for early-stage initiatives and DPC2 focused on reviewing MVP progress to make go/no-go decisionsCollaborate with presenters to refine submission materials (memo & cover page), develop overall materials for DPC meetings, and coordinate with initiative owners on incorporating feedback from DPC meetingsMaintain and publish the DD&T Pipeline and Portfolio based on data collected from initiative owners in the form of a PowerBI dashboard communicating with initiative owners regularly to preserve data hygieneManage any DPC related tools (e.g., dashboards, DPC meeting app, initiative databases)Collaborate with DD&T leadership team, DD&T Portfolio Office, Business Strategy Council (BSC) office, and other governance bodies to align agenda/topics between the committees and groupsMaintain DPC charter and Corporate T-Map to improve agile decision making while maintaining sound corporate governanceSupport and record endorsement of investment decisions based on the success of minimum viable products (MVPs) and ensure commitment to value based on defined success criteriaEnsure deliberation of DD&T investments between 25-70 OY in Total Investment, validating MVPs, key success criteria, and resultsEscalate strategic and transformational projects (70+ OY in total Investment) for discussion at the Business Strategy Council (BSC), ensuring alignment with organizational goalsIdentify and evaluate opportunities to enhance the DD&T value proposition and maximize impact linked to key business objectivesOversee the operational status of the GDD&T Portfolio, ensuring progress tracking, OKR tracking, risk management, and financial adherenceEDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Life Sciences, Business, or related subject matterAdvanced degree in Business or Law (e.g., MBA, JD) preferredMinimum 10+ years of information management and/or related work experience in Biotech/Pharmaceutical industryStrong communication skills: Ability to collaborate, communicate and influence effectively and consistently with multiple stakeholders. Team-oriented. Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at verbal and written communication.Enterprise thinking: Understands Takeda's strategic direction, staying informed with organizational initiatives and prioritiesOrganizational and project management skills: Ability to integrate information to build, plan and implement solutions to problems.
