We are seeking a SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST who is responsible for asset cashflow modeling and financial reporting This position requires a deep understanding of real estate finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly. This is a remote position based in Chicago, Illinois.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Asset Cash Flow Modeling:

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed cash flow models for various real estate assets.
  • Analyze financial performance and projections to support investment decisions.
  • Assess the financial impact of potential acquisitions, dispositions, and capital projects.
  • Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for internal and external reporting.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Asset Management teams to reconcile discrepancies and ensure full understanding of the asset and business plan.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with Asset management, acquisitions, and accounting teams to gather and analyze relevant data.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field; CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the real estate or private equity industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with financial reporting and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate markets and investment strategies.
  • Familiarity with financial software and tools (e.g., Argus, Yardi, MRI) is a plus.
  • Possess skills, abilities and traits that align with the company's Key Principles
