Location: This role is hybrid and will be based in both our Chicago Loop and Elmhurst offices, with a target of 3-4 in-office days per week.

About the role:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst, Revenue will be responsible for all aspects of revenue analysis and forecasting for Double Good. This role requires a keen analytical mind, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to achieve financial goals.

  • Revenue Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of revenue trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze large datasets related to revenue performance, customer behavior, and market trends.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop accurate short term and long term revenue forecasts and annual budgets based on historical data, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to evaluate various scenarios and potential revenue outcomes.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting revenue performance against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Data Visualization: Create insightful dashboards and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve revenue forecasting methodologies and financial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct special projects and ad hoc analysis as requested by management to support strategic decision-making.

Experience & Skills we value:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, with a focus on revenue analysis in a manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and ability to create compelling visualizations.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with statistical analysis tools (R, Python) is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
