Position Summary:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will collaborate with various business units and cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights and ensure optimal financial performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance financial reporting packages tailored for a multi-entity organization.
- Analyze monthly financial outcomes in partnership with the accounting team, identifying trends and key drivers of variance.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding opportunities and risks affecting the organization.
- Oversee the monthly review of expenses and revenues, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines for journal entries.
- Create annual budgets and monthly forecasts to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Assist in the formulation of internal cost allocation methods and customer profitability models.
- Deliver insightful analytical reports, including ad hoc requests, to enhance understanding of cost dynamics and identify efficiency opportunities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
- Experience in a multi-entity organizational structure.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to support business units with analysis and ad hoc financial requests.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 2-5 years of relevant financial analysis experience.
- Familiarity with income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to various stakeholders.
