At BAE Systems Micro Electronics IC group, based out of Nashua, NH, we design high performance GaAs and GaN MMICs for the Space and Defense market.

We are looking for an entry to mid-level MMIC design engineer to work in the following areas:Broadband High power GaN MMICsGaAs and GaN based LNAs and drivers/pre-drivers amplifiers, mixersGaN and GaAs based control circuits such as switches, analog/digital attenuators, VGAsWork closely with our MMIC Module group to integrate MMICs into broadband multichip MMIC ModulesWork closely with the modeling group to develop next generation models/PDKs.Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Required Skills and EducationBS in Electrical Engineering with 3 or more years of experience orMS in Electrical Engineering with 1 or more years of experience orPhD in Electrical EngineeringKnowledge in III-V compound materials and technologyUnderstanding of FET characteristics Understanding of Microwave design tools such as (any combination of these design tools is good) ADS, MWO, (both linear and non-linear), 2.5 and/or 3D EM simulators such as SONNET, Axiem and HFSS. Understanding of RF calibration and measurement techniques such as S-parameter, gain, power, efficiency, linearity, intermodulation distortion, load-pull, and noise figure. Full-Time Salary Range: $ $191070

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
