In this position, you will provide essential administrative support to the Vehicle Maintenance Fleet Engineering (FE) group by keeping our FE team prepared, on time with deliverables, and well-informed.
Technology skills, experience with modern office programs, and the ability to navigate Office 365 suite will be utilized daily in this position.
King County Metro Transit is searching for a self-motivated individual with good judgment, an eye for accuracy, and professional integrity to provide administrative support to the Vehicle Maintenance (VM) Division, reporting to the VM Fleet Engineering Superintendent.

About the Vehicle Maintenance Division:
Metro Transit's Vehicle Maintenance Division takes pride in meeting our customers' expectations for safe, dependable, clean, and environmentally sound vehicles.
Maintenance of Metro's bus fleet takes place at seven bus bases and at our central Component Supply Center where specialized work is done.
The majority of Metro's buses are hybrids, followed by diesel, electric trolleys, and several battery-electric buses.Metro has long been an innovator in green vehicle technology and plans to transition to battery-electric buses as we move toward our goal of a zero-emission fleet.
