The primary purpose of the Sr. Administrative Assistant position is to perform complex administrative support requiring judgement within general guidelines. Uses independent judgement and complex analysis to gather facts and determine appropriate solutions based on prior experience. Impacts department efficiency and productivity and supports one or more senior and/or mid managers.

Provide administrative support to department leadership as assigned. Effectively manages calendars, conference/meeting agendas and presentation materials and independently prioritizes, plans, coordinates and oversees logistics for meetings with individuals and entities internal and external to the department. Uses effective communication strategies to address meeting conflicts, confirmation of completed requests and meeting reminders. Prepare and coordinates travel itineraries and reimbursement expense reports

Oversees the upkeep of general office space, ensures visitors are appropriately welcomed and announced, and conference rooms within the department are maintained. Assists with departmental conference/townhall planning and logistics. Provides back up support of administrative support staff. Partners with other administrative support staff to prepare meeting presentation, event/conference/meeting planning and logistics coordination. Assists with timekeeping, conference registration, travel reimbursement and serves as designated Kronos Correction submitter.

Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Required: Five years of administrative/secretarial experience. With preferred Associate's degree, three years of required experience and with preferred Bachelor's degree, one year of required experience.

Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
