Senior Manager, Brand Marketing (Hybrid)

Location: Hoboken, New Jersey
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $ per hour

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Brand Marketing to join our client's team and lead the charge in developing and executing compelling brand campaigns

As the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand identity and driving strategic marketing initiatives for our client. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and overall market growth.

This is a hybrid flexible role local to a company office in either Hoboken, NJ; Los Angeles, CA; San Bruno, CA; Bentonville, AK or Chicago, IL. If not local, the client is willing to consider remote.

Responsibilities:

Insights & Analytics

  • Collaborate with the Customer Insights team on monthly/quarterly brand health tracker to develop actionable insights.
  • Implement and lead ad-hoc customer research studies to help drive campaigns and direction for the full working teams (e.g., Customer deep dive, logo study, copy testing).
  • Lead weekly upper funnel marketing performance reporting (media/creative performance).
  • Strategy/planning: partner with Brand, Benefits, and Partnerships Marketing Director on Fiscal 2026 Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead brand activation on owned channels in partnership with cross-functional teams including brand social, retail brand experiences (in-store marketing team), and brand partnerships/experiential teams.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships with internal creative, external agencies, and customer insights teams for messaging and creative asset development.

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Manage all evergreen benefit messaging throughout the funnel and maintain consistency with multiple teams.
  • Validate and feature key supplier partner products – ensure consistency throughout the funnel.
  • Collaborate with business, product, and UX teams on new benefit and offer opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree with a strong academic record. MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years relevant experience in B2C marketing.
  • Collaborative team player who can work with multiple cross-functional stakeholder groups, influence decisions, and work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to go from "insights to action" - work with data to build, execute, measure, and optimize impactful plans.
  • Experience in brand building efforts: leveraging consumer insights to develop brand positioning, creative, and messaging.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of and interest in customer behavior, retail, brand, and direct response marketing.
