What you'll do
- Operational Leadership: Lead and supervise offshift production, maintenance, and support teams to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of production goals. Coordinate with crossfunctional departments, including production, quality, and logistics, to maintain workflow continuity and resolve operational issues. Implement production schedules, resource allocation plans, and priorities for offshift activities. Basic hours cover 10pm6am Monday through Friday with weekends as/when required.
- Quality/Compliance: Monitor and audit manufacturing processes and enforce adherence to quality standards, cGMP, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits during offshift hours to ensure compliance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety protocols. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address any deviations, nonconformances, or product quality concerns.
- Team Management and Development: Provide leadership and guidance to offshift employees, including training, coaching, working with their manager. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among offshift teams. Resolve/Support personnel issues, conflicts, and staffing challenges during offshift hours working with HR and appropriate managers.
- Emergency Response, Escalation, and
Crisis Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for emergencies, incidents, and critical situations during off-shift periods. Coordinate emergency response activities, including incident investigation, escalation procedures, and communication with senior management. Implement contingency plans and ensure readiness to address unexpected events that may impact facility operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements. Implement lean manufacturing principles and operational best practices to enhance SQDIP metrics. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement and sustain improvement initiatives.
- Engagement: work closely with offshift teams and respective support functions to improve employee engagement across all teams. Collaborate with site management team to develop and execute sitewide engagement action plans.

Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Life Sciences) or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years' experience in a leadership role within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations, and quality management systems.
- Excellent communication, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound judgments during offshift hours.
- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodology and demonstrated ability to drive results through application.
- Proficiency in computer applications and manufacturing software systems.
- Knowledge of PLC, logical controls and associated programming software
- Knowledge of troubleshooting programmable frequency drives (VFD) and their relationship to the process
