CSI's Conversion department has an opening for a Deposits Implementations Manager. The Implementations Specialist Manager role is a dual position. As a working manager you will be responsible for a team of approximately 11 individuals to lead, mentor, and ensure accurate delivery of converted data from previous vendors onto CSI core systems. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing assigned projects to ensure timely and accurate conversion of customer data to CSI. This position will support the organizations purpose to successfully deliver high quality projects as efficiently as possible while ensuring a work life balance for our employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign independent tasks/projects to direct reports and monitor progress
  • Initiate regular engagement and communication with application teams to ensure project is progressing as planned
  • Work with your teams to establish individual goals which support the attainment of departmental goals and driving action to ensure achievement
  • Facilitate team discussions regarding major issues with the core conversion process
  • Conduct regular monthly team meetings and weekly reporting
  • Proactively identify and manage key project issues & risks
  • Coordinate projects with internal departments to meet timelines and quality standards
  • Manage performance of direct reports
  • Manage new hires and termination of employees
  • Provide weekly progress reports to Director of Implementations
  • Drive ongoing evolution and improvement of data conversion team methodologies, processes, best practices, and documentation
  • Ongoing review and reporting of items such as goal achievement, team accomplishments, and team priorities
  • Keep current on CSI product enhancements, industry trends and best practices so that training plans can be developed and executed for team members
  • Ongoing management and mentoring of team members including regular 1-on-1 with your direct reports
  • Execute annual performance assessments and review processes for your organization
  • Other duties as assigned

Conversion Responsibilities:

  • Analyze master files from other processors
  • Conduct data gathering meetings with customer banks
  • Map data from prior processor to CSI's master files
  • Set up Bank Control Records
  • Review and balance test reports
  • Prepare test review and conversion documentation
  • Conduct test review meetings with customer banks
  • Run, balance, and document the live conversion, merger, or convert/merge
  • Keep current on application enhancements and DDA sub-systems

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certifications:

A college degree in technical or business field of study or equivalent experience in the banking or data processing industry.

Experience:

Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in the following:
• Management experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries preferred
• Thorough knowledge of DDA application and working knowledge of ACH
• A solid understanding of Service Charge routines, APA, Cash Reserve, HSA accounts, Sweep and Cash management accounts.
• Strong deposit operation background or experience preferred.
• Strong and broad knowledge of overall banking operations
• Knowledge of core and peripheral banking systems
