Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management strategies to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Lead a team of quality professionals in the provision of departmental services, including outcomes management and survey preparedness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate services and functions throughout the healthcare system.
  • Develop and manage budgets, and ensure fiscal responsibility in departmental operations.
  • Exhibit effective leadership skills, including planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating departmental functions.
  • Operate departments of responsibility in a way that meets fiscal goals and implements value-added programs and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Clinical background with working knowledge of quality management.
  • Five years of management experience, with a working knowledge of management, benchmarking, outcome measurement, team development, and quality tools.
  • Knowledge of statistics, data collection, and survey design.
  • Database management and/or development skills.
  • Highly developed organizational, interpersonal, and management skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, including state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations.
