Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Service Department to achieve outstanding results in customer satisfaction and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance
    • Review estimates and actual repair time to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Service Department Leadership
    • Manage the Service Department to achieve superior results in customer service and financial performance.
    • Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of Service Department staff.
  • Department Oversight
    • Oversee department personnel and ensure they follow assigned work schedules and adhere to company policies and procedures.
    • Enforce safety requirements and federal, state, and local regulations that may affect operations.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Forecast goals and objectives for the Service Department.
    • Develop and implement strategies to achieve dealership objectives.
  • Staff Management
    • Manage department staff, including Administration, Foremen, Service Writers, and Technicians.
    • Implement training and ongoing training and support for department personnel.
  • Market Awareness
    • Maintain awareness of current and projected market conditions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior RV or automotive experience as a Service Manager.
  • Ability to think beyond industry norms and find ways to increase margins.
  • Reliable and strong work ethic.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to listen and provide solutions to customer issues.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Willingness to work weekends as needed.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
