Press Brake Operator

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team in Azusa, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating press brakes and be able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

This is a full-time position with a starting pay rate of $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate hydraulic press brakes to bend, form, and straighten metal plates and sheets
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine proper specifications
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure quality production and adjust machine settings as needed
  • Measure and inspect completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and lubrication
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating press brakes in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of different types of metal and their properties
  • Proficient in the use of measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed
