Job Description

In this role you will report into the Director of Engineering and be responsible for:

Designing control system architectures and schematics using CAD software, tailoring them to project specifications, and utilizing Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley products. This involves creating hardware interfaces, software elements, and integrating diverse sensors, actuators, and servos.Developing, testing, and troubleshooting code for control systems, employing Allen-Bradley PLC programming language to configure control devices effectively. Seamlessly integrating control systems with existing infrastructure, incorporating PLCs, SCADA, and HMIs.Conducting comprehensive testing of control systems to guarantee functionality, reliability, and safety. This includes devising test plans, executing simulations, and analyzing data to validate system performance.Identifying and rectifying control system issues, encompassing hardware malfunctions, software glitches, and communication errors. Implementing necessary corrective measures to resolve issues and enhance system efficiency.Generating and maintaining documentation pertaining to control system design, implementation, and maintenance activities. Producing reports, technical documents, and user manuals as required.Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, such as mechanical engineers and test technicians, to attain project objectives and ensure smooth integration of control systems.Overseeing controls inventory stock and planning processes.
