Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Production Processes: Develop and implement production schedules to meet business objectives and customer demands.
  • Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during the production process and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Analyze Production Data: Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and Implement SOPs: Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor Production Equipment: Monitor production equipment and ensure it is maintained and operating efficiently.
  • Evaluate and Implement New Technologies: Evaluate and implement new technologies and techniques to improve production processes.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership, ensuring that team performance is aligned and contributes to the overall goals of the business unit.
  • Support Bid and Proposal Process: Support the bid and proposal process by leading a portion of the technical proposal effort, including coordinating with other engineering disciplines to identify and manage dependencies to ensure work packages within assigned area will be delivered.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering: A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
  • Strong Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials is essential.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
  • Ability to Work Collaboratively: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams is necessary.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Proficiency in CAD Software: Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools is necessary.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing: Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
