Associate Control Systems Engineer

KBR is looking for an Associate Control Systems Engineer to support projects under the Wilmington Operations Center. You will have direct supervision while independently evaluating and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. With additional experience within one functional area, assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for design, specification and services related to control systems including basic process control systems, safety systems, control panels, analyzer systems, telecommunications, field instrumentation, and valves etc.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Electrical or Instrumentation/Controls
  • EIT/FE designation preferred.
  • Experience with Instrumentation/Controls a plus
