ModMed is hiring a Pre-sales Solutions Consultant (internally referred to as a "Solutions Engineer") to demonstrate our proprietary software, including EMA (Electronic Health Record), Patient Collaboration, Inventory Management, Clinical Analytics, Telehealth, Patient Engagement, and more, to both potential customers and existing clients.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate closely with sales leadership and territory managers to craft personalized software demonstrations that showcase the unique value of our products to medical practices. Your contributions will not only assist in closing deals but also help in profiling prospects and identifying the most suitable training and implementation project plans. This supportive sales role offers a great opportunity to utilize your deep understanding of medical practice workflows, demonstrate product value effectively, and contribute significantly to our success in closing deals

Your Role:

  • Prepare, perform, and deliver tailored software demonstrations and technical presentations to medical practices across key market segments.
  • Work with Sales Managers to identify and understand client needs and requirements.
  • Drive customer and sales success with your knowledge and ability to influence and make recommendations.
  • Assist the sales team as the technical subject matter expert for our software.
  • Serve as a product expert - knows every in/out, workaround, and feature available and maintains awareness of trends and needs in the Healthcare IT industry.
  • Visit client practices and exhibit at society meetings.
  • Demonstrate value and discuss the functionality of all Ancillary products such as Relatient and Analytics; know three primary products.

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • Requires up to 50% domestic travel
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Deep experience in clinical EHR software and workflows, OR 2+ years of experience as a Sales Solutions Engineer or similar role, demonstrating EHR software to clients.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical practice operational and clinical workflows, along with a strong understanding of healthcare business processes.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active listener, adaptable, coachable, and a strong communicator at all levels of the organization.
  • Naturally curious, engaging, unafraid to ask questions, and passionate about continuous learning and improvement.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, virtual, and innovative environment.
