Duties And ResponsibilitiesRepairs and maintains all Electronic Gaming Devices (i.e., slot machines)
Upkeeps shop tools and equipment
Orders and keeps inventory of Gaming Machine parts
Assists with the installation and maintenance of slot machines
Maintains proper documentation of department repair logs, shift logs, and daily shift reports
Safely and effectively operates shop equipment including hand tools, soldering equipment, and some electronic test equipment
Maintains security of equipment, records, funds, warehouse locks and keys
Consistently follows MICS and other WCH policies and procedures
Develops and implements repair and maintenance procedures in order to proactively identify or prevent future equipment problems
Effectively interprets slot machine conditions by use of self-diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
Performs special projects and machine moves as assigned
Responds to floor calls in an expeditious manner and spends enough time on the floor to be familiar with operational issues
Understands the gaming floor network, infrastructure and related system, repairs and corrects line failures
Maintains a positive working relationship with other departments including IT, Security, Slot Operations and Housekeeping
Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program
Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying) High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
Four (4) years' experience in the repair of Electronic Gaming Devices, Video Gaming Terminals, or equivalent work experience– required

Working knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming type devices
Ability to read and understand schematics, and service manuals
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel programs
Must keep abreast of new and or improved gaming devices, software, hardware, parts etc.
Must have ability to work in fast-paced environment while coordinating multiple tasks at one time
Must be willing and able to work independently
Must be able to lift and maneuver at least 50 lbs
Excellent mechanical and electronic assembly skills
Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Willing and able to travel and participate in training as recommended or required.
Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position.
Willing and able to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
