Job Responsibilities- Specialty: Radiology Technologist

Key Duties:
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs intricate diagnostic and therapeutic imaging apparatus and systems using established electronic testing and measurement tools.
- Installs, calibrates, and tests advanced imaging equipment and systems.
- Conducts general service on imaging devices, adhering to corporate policies, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborates with clinical personnel to ensure operational needs are fulfilled.
- Provides technical support to imaging staff in utilizing complex diagnostic and therapeutic imaging devices.
- Serves as a technical mentor for Biomedical and Imaging Technicians, fostering their professional growth.
- Maintains comprehensive records of inspections, repairs, and adjustments performed on imaging equipment.
- Assists in the installation of new imaging technology and trains staff on safe operational practices.
- Coordinates with radiation physicists for quality assurance testing and compliance with health regulations.
- Participates in the selection process for new equipment and makes recommendations for upgrades.
- Orders necessary repair parts following established protocols.
- Escalates complex issues to appropriate personnel and contributes to the development of maintenance policies.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Valid driver's license required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in biomedical imaging, including digital imaging and networking technology.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Travel required; personal vehicle necessary.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, lift, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance.
- Work environment may include exposure to dust, fumes, and various hazards; protective clothing may be necessary.
