Job Description

SENIOR EHS ENGINEER key responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures.Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits.Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near-misses.Lead and coordinate emergency response planning and drills.Provide EHS training and education programs for employees.Monitor and manage hazardous materials and waste disposal.Collaborate with regulatory agencies and external auditors.Track and analyze EHS performance metrics and trends.Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the organization.

SENIOR EHS ENGINEER successful candidate:

Extensive experience in environmental, health, and safety management within a manufacturing setting.Strong understanding of EHS regulations and compliance requirements.Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and safety audits effectively.Excellent skills in incident investigation and root cause analysis.Proficiency in developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures.Effective communication and leadership skills to train and educate employees.Strong organizational and project management abilities.Ability to collaborate with regulatory agencies and external auditors.Demonstrated track record of improving EHS performance metrics.Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) and a background in engineering or a related field.
