LabCorp is seeking a Laboratory Specimen Processor to join our team in Dublin, OH. This position will be responsible for preparing and sending specimens and test requests to LabCorp and/or contracted reference laboratory for testing, as well as releasing referral test results into the computer system.

The schedule for this position will be: Tuesday-Saturday (4am-12:30 pm) and rotating weekends

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
  • Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
  • Accurately identify and label specimens
  • Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
  • Meet department activity and production goals
  • Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
  • Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
  • Resolve and document any problem specimens
