Position Overview:

We are currently seeking candidates for several long-term positions within a medical laboratory focused on the processing of samples and specimens. This is an entry-level opportunity that does not require a degree, primarily concentrating on the tasks of processing, scanning, packaging, and conducting data entry for various human specimens and tests.

Work Schedule:

All positions are available for night shifts and are full-time roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scanning samples into the laboratory information system, performing data entry, processing and sorting samples, and preparing them for packaging.
  • Preparing laboratory specimens for subsequent analysis.
  • Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to customer inquiries and specimen handling.
  • Coordinating test requests to the appropriate locations and managing the release of test results.
  • Assisting clients with any inquiries or requests related to specimens.
  • Processing specimens for dispatch to additional facilities.
  • Providing support across various departments within the laboratory.
  • Engaging in sample sorting, racking, and retrieval activities.
  • Maintaining accurate record logs in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess work experience, which can come from various industries. This role is entry-level within the scientific domain, thus a degree is not necessary; however, a completed High School Diploma or GED is required.
