Junior Laboratory Processor

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking candidates for several long-term positions within a medical laboratory focused on the processing of samples and specimens. This is an entry-level opportunity that does not require a degree, with a primary emphasis on processing, scanning, packaging, and data entry for various human-based specimens and tests.

Work Schedule:

All positions are available for night shifts and are full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan samples into the laboratory information system, perform data entry, process and sort samples, and package them appropriately.
• Prepare laboratory specimens for subsequent analysis.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to customer inquiries and specimen handling.
• Send test requests to the appropriate locations and manage the release of test results.
• Assist clients with any inquiries or requests related to specimens.
• Process specimens for dispatch to additional facilities.
• Provide support across various laboratory functions.
• Engage in sample sorting, racking, and retrieval activities.
• Maintain accurate record logs in a timely manner.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess work experience, which can come from various industries. This role is designed for entry-level candidates in the scientific field; therefore, a degree is not necessary, but a completed High School Diploma or GED is required.
