Responsibilities
We are hiring for a Director of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Kings County.
Planning, implementing and coordinating the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency curriculum, resident selection, supervision, and performance evaluation in compliance with CODA.Supervision of residents and dental students in the outpatient and inpatient clinical areas.Under general directions, performs all required dental/surgical services within his/her field of specialty.Provide direct patient care.Ongoing participation in the departmental Quality Assurance Program.Assist in the maintenance of standards of performance of physicians and other professional employees working in the service.Assume Emergency on-call responsibilities.QualificationsCurrent licensed NYS registration certificateGraduate of an accredited dental school and MD/OMS degree conferred by a programaccredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)Completion of an approved residency program accredited by CODAExceptional Benefits Include:Competitive compensation package10% 401K company contribution after one year of service, with 3% company contribution starting day oneChoice of a three tiered, starting at FREE medical plans starting day oneExcellent dental insurance including orthodontics coverage starting day oneGenerous paid time off programCME days and dollarsEligibility for loan forgiveness through the National Student Debt Forgiveness CenterSalary Amount : $335,000New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is one of the largest multi-disciplinary groups in the country whose main purpose is to nurture and embolden the healthcare providers who take care of the most fragile and vulnerable patients in New York City.
