Midwifery Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Midwifery to lead our midwifery practice at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, development, and management of the administrative, clinical, educational, research, and evaluative functions required for a midwifery practice embedded within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women's Health.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve midwifery care and services
• Lead and manage a team of midwives to provide high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure seamless care coordination
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
• Develop and manage budgets and resources to support midwifery services
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in midwifery care

• Board certification in midwifery
• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical and administrative midwifery leadership
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
