Position Overview:

The Enterprise Account Executive will drive sales of the Imply solution across the Western region. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented candidate with excellent communication skills who can approach sales strategically. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and acquiring new customers.

Moreover, the candidate must be adept at selling innovative solutions and technologies within a startup setting to senior executives within the IT sector. They must tailor solutions to meet each client's unique needs, positioning Imply's offerings as superior to competitors'.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive territory plan to drive revenue and secure new clients
  • Cultivate existing client relationships to uncover growth opportunities and new leads
  • Establish strategic partnerships at the executive level to facilitate cross-organizational sales
  • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations in collaboration with Sales Engineers
  • Consult with prospects to identify tailored solutions, present proposals, and secure contracts
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of client needs around infrastructure and data, and how Imply's solution addresses those needs
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Imply's solution to drive client action
  • Understand enterprise client budgeting and procurement processes to navigate sales cycles to closure
  • Achieve individual activity and revenue targets determined by the company
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records in Salesforce and other tools
  • Participate in sales seminars and educational activities to stay informed on industry trends
  • Stay updated on all Imply product details, pricing, and contract terms
  • Travel as needed for face-to-face client meetings; expected travel approximately 25% of the time
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales roles with a proven sales record, particularly in analytics, databases, or related technology
  • Demonstrated history of surpassing sales targets, acquiring new clients, and identifying business opportunities
  • Accurate forecasting abilities
  • Experience leading successful sales cycles with emerging technologies in various scenarios
  • Proven ability to build strong business relationships across enterprise organizations
  • Prior experience conducting online sales presentations and product demos
  • Experience in solution selling with SaaS, managed solutions, or cloud infrastructure is advantageous
  • Strong business acumen combined with technical proficiency and collaborative mindset
  • Bachelor's degree

Individual compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience, aligned with Imply's internal guidelines. The offered salary range is $90,000 to $225,000.
