Senior Project Manager (Remote)

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with 8 to 10 years of experience in Delivery Management and Portfolio & Project Management (PPM). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Networks and Devices and will be responsible for overseeing sophisticated projects that drive our company success and impact on society.

Location : Dallas - TX USA (Remote)

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee project scope goals and results ensuring they meet the company strategic direction.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans to supervise and track progress ensuring all projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
  • Manage changes to the project scope project timeline and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to identify areas for improvement.
  • Report and advance issues to management as needed to ensure project success.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and ensure project stability.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Provide regular updates to customers on project status risks and issues.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation to meet project demands.
  • Apply industry best practices techniques and standards throughout the entire project execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess a strong background in Delivery Management and Portfolio & Project Management (PPM).
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in managing projects related to Networks and Devices.
  • Exhibit superb communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with partners.
  • Show proficiency in project management software and tools for efficient project tracking.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Display strong problem-solving skills to address project challenges and risks.
  • Hold a relevant project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.

The annual salary for this position is between $81K – $163K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
