Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager specializing in water and wastewater systems, you will be instrumental in overseeing and guiding a dedicated team of experts in the planning, design, and implementation of critical water and wastewater infrastructure initiatives. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, maintaining client satisfaction, and complying with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the comprehensive planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater projects from start to finish.
  • Establish project scopes, budgets, and timelines while directing the design team throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Track project progress, proactively identify challenges, and implement effective solutions as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors, to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships by thoroughly understanding their objectives and aligning project outcomes with their expectations.
  • Guarantee that all projects adhere to relevant environmental, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of growth and learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering with a focus on treatment from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of water and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Demonstrated success in managing or leading treatment-related projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Commitment to staying informed about emerging technologies, equipment, and innovations in treatment processes.
