Data Center Concierge

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Data Center Concierge. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and exceptional service delivery of our state-of-the-art data center facility. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day interactions and support for clients, visitors, and personnel within the data center as well as maintaining an efficient and welcoming environment. This includes such tasks as answering and directing incoming phone calls and greeting clients, vendors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer and vendor visits with security and escort customers and vendors as required
  • Review and respond to work request systems (i.e., dispatch, updates, etc.)
  • Maintain the tour and conference room schedules
  • Keep records of activities within the data center including circuit inventories, installed power inventories and labor hours expended
  • May generate purchase requisitions and coordinate with vendors for delivery and invoicing
  • Lead and support team event planning and assist with special projects as needed.
  • Communicate operating datacenter procedures to customers on-site, while building and developing positive customer relationship
  • Track, follow-up, and report on customer inquiries and issues while customers are on-site
  • Provide general induction learning tours to new customers to orient them to the site
  • Support the coordination of tasks to the appropriate cross-functional teams
  • Maintain positive business relationships with local vendors in support of customer's administrative needs; provide information about local vendors to customers upon request
  • Maintain customer care areas/conference rooms for cleanliness and fully stocking amenities as required; may provide backup coverage to cross functional teams to support inventory ordering
  • Partner with teams in the tracking of customer shipments when on-site

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or facilities management is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Strong Administrative skills, knowledge and aptitude, with the ability to learn and understand data center infrastructure concepts.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

  • California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $43,000 to $65,000 per year

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
