About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Website Manager and SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and updating our company's WordPress website, as well as implementing SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.

What you will do:

Website Management

  • Maintain and update the company's WordPress website, ensuring an appealing UX, accessibility, and adhering to best practices.
  • Collaborate with the content team to publish new blog posts, product pages, and other website content.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or bugs that arise on the website.
  • Ensure website security by implementing necessary measures and keeping WordPress, plugins, and themes updated.

SEO Optimization

  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify high-value, relevant keywords for the company's products and services.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, titles, and descriptions for improved search engine visibility and rankings.
  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, such as internal linking, image optimization, and link building.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and search engine rankings using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Marketing, or Communications) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in WordPress website management and SEO optimization.
  • Certification in SEO, digital marketing, GA4 or related skills is a plus.
  • Proven experience in WordPress website management, including customization, plugin installation, theme development, CRO, and multivariate testing methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for website customization and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Familiarity with web/SEO tools and platforms: Google Analytics/Looker, SEMRush, Search Console, and Screaming Frog.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data-driven insights and reports for non-technical staff.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
