Job Summary

Assist managing projects and programs which oversee The Bridge concept from its inception through its various phases of improvement throughout Stanford Medicine Children's Health. The main goal of The Bridge is to identify and bridge gaps and overcoming barriers that hinder patient experience in the ambulatory and hospital settings. This will be made possible by: 1) enhanced visual management 2) process redesign to minimize waste in the system and minimize rid of delays 3) improved resource allocation. This role will be responsible for planning, scheduling, assigning, and overseeing the work of project core team members. The PM will provide analysis, recommendations, decision support, and project management for the entirety of The Bridge project.

Essential Functions

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

  • Manages, assesses, and documents project scope and program, describing the objectives, stakeholder identification, resource requirements, parameters, risks and benefits of the project, timelines and tracks and communicates ongoing performance against goals. Documents current and future-state processes and oversees the development and implementation of priorities for The Bridge.
  • Captures data, performs analysis, interprets results, develops summaries and generates optimal, effective, and innovative visual display to inform and operationally support improvement opportunities for key areas of focus.
  • Manages complex information (e.g. large data sets), conducts analyses and develops visual displays on a regular basis in collaboration with the Executive Team and Team Lead.
  • Manages communications on a regular and timely basis, ensuring that all project participants are informed of project status, barriers, and required actions.
  • Implements quality control measures to ensure project compliance with department, hospital, and university policies, government codes and regulations; also ensures conformance to the requirements of all project participants.
  • OTHER DUTIES: Participates in projects as assigned and completes within requested timeframes. Performs other related work as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Experience: Two to five years of experience interacting with clients, customers and/or patients in a complex environment. Licensure/Certification: Project Management Certificate (PMP or other) preferred. Pay Range

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.

Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Minimum to Midpoint Range (1.0 FTE): $83,761.60 to $111,103.20
