Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a pioneer in biomaterials manufacturing, is seeking a Contracts Specialist for a remote role based in Manassas, VA. Background in biological sciences, and experience with commercial contracts preferred.

The Contracts Specialist review contractual documents to ensure adherence to the organization's policy and maintain knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices. The Contracts Specialist manages all contract phases, from proposal to execution. They develop strong working relationships by assisting with the execution of contract awards, post award administration and termination of contracts.

Responsibilities

Agreement Administration: Administer agreements throughout their lifecycle, including negotiation, documentation, and reporting. Review agreements to ensure they meet contract requirements. Communication Management: Manage communication channels, including a department inbox. Participate in agreement negotiations from proposal to execution, and work closely with internal stakeholders.Reporting and Process Management: Prepare spreadsheets, generate reports on contract activity, and execute a broad range of commercial agreements. Ensure timely processing of department reports and deliverables.Contract Compliance: Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to organizational policies and proceedures while maintaining a high-level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years' experience or equivalent experience.Background in biological sciences, and experience with commercial contracts preferred.Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
