Job Summary:

KBR is seeking a highly qualified Contract Manager to support our customer in Chantilly, VA. The successful candidate will provide support to contracts and related business processes throughout all stages of the contract management life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Government in establishing high-level contract strategy and driving implementation of strategic contract opportunities.
  • Domain knowledge and expertise for the system engineering of multiple interrelated large system acquisitions, including Cloud Services, Software Services Platform, Development Security Operations (DevSecOps), Data Centricity and management, Data Management, Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), and enterprise governance.
  • Champion contract policy and procedure revision and improvement.
  • Understand business cases and have an appreciation of financial/analytical issues.
  • Analyze significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Manage contract change control process and support bid review and proposal requests.
  • Develop negotiation strategy and lead negotiations on complex contractual issues.
  • Correspond with Government and developers regarding contract status, requests for additional information, etc.
  • Author, edit, and package complex requests for proposals (RFP).
  • Perform pre-Acquisition, Acquisition Execution, and Acquisition Strategy tasks.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of relative experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • DAWIA level I or II desired.
  • COTR Experience desired.
  • TS/SCI with CI poly.
