Responsibilities
High-level responsibilities include:
- Overall leadership of the software development team, tools, and processes
- Collaborate closely with the development team to streamline development processes and enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain reusable code libraries to accelerate development cycles.
- Improve estimating processes to ensure accurate project planning and resource allocation.
- Research and implement AI solutions to automate tasks, reduce costs, and deliver faster results for our clients.
- Oversee all internal and client-facing projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaboration with the leadership team on planning and execution of our business plan
Qualifications
Ideally, you have a great mix of experience including:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading software development teams, delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong technical background and expertise in software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies and familiarity with tools such as JIRA or similar project management software.
- Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
- Passion for staying updated with the latest advancements in software development and emerging technologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate team building and client relationships
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a strong advantage.
